SEO Marketing Services

SEO is not magic. It’s hard work and time consuming, but nothing close to magic. Also, SEO is not a simple click of a button or add-on. Time and again our competition makes veiled promises claiming that they will get your website to rank first in Google within months. And no, they are not lying to you; they just wont have you rank for search phrases that anyone else searches for. So if you want your website to rank number 1 in Google for the search term ‘happy day bubble-spark’, then go right ahead and hire our competition, but if that’s not what you’re looking for, read on.

SEO is more than just coding a site correctly. Yes, the site code is VERY important, but any modern web developer should already be coding to the W3C standards. There is so much more to SEO than just your sites code.

Why are we just giving this information away? Because SEO is not a secret like others want you to believe. It’s an ongoing process. Just like any marketing campaign, it takes time, energy and expertise to get the job done effectively. Sure, you could give this information away to our competitors, but if they weren’t going to be up front with you now, why would you want to help them out? And if they aren’t currently offering TRUE SEO, what makes you think they’ll be able to accomplish this task?

The following is a high-level overview of what Moosefish Web Services does for you and your SEO needs.

Visually Impaired Visitors

What do the Visually Impaired and SEO have to do with each other? A Lot! Think of it this way, a Search Engine, like Google, can not see your images or the ‘flashy’ things that make your site look cool. One of the only things they can see is your content; just like a screen reader would read to a visually impaired visitor. Content is king with it comes to SEO. Google will read your site from top to bottom and assume that the content on the top is the most important. It also cannot see your images, so it will read the Meta data about your images. If you have some fancy navigation built in Flash or JavaScript (sorry for the lingo), it will skip right over it, and if that is your only way of getting to the next page, Google will never see your next page.

Moosefish Web Services will build your site so that it is not only pleasing to the human eye, but also so it is pleasing to the Search Engine ‘eye’. We will give all of your images Meta data, put the important information towards the top of the page and allow Search Engines access to your sub pages.

Keywords

Every ‘content page’ should have a single subject to it. In turn, that single subject will have at least one Keyword. The Keyword is the main point of the page, a few words that completely describe your page.

Moosefish Web Services will analyze your content and determine what the best Keyword are for every page. We will then use those Keywords in the appropriate places in your site, such as links to your pages, title tags, image Meta data, Meta tags and much more.

Backlinks

A Backlink is a link to your website, and in the Search Engine’s eyes, a vote of confidence. But not every vote is equal; pages with a higher PageRank that link to you is a stronger vote than a page with a lower Rank. So, you may hear our competition claim they will get you hundreds of Backlinks within a months time, but if they are low PageRank Backlinks it will do you no good, in-fact, it may even hurt your site. Matt Cutts said once, “It’s not the amount of links, but how reputable those links are”. So a Backlink from a well known computer company to a department store would be a good Backlink, but a Backlink from an unknown department store to a well known computer company really doesn’t do anything for the computer company.

Moosefish Web Services will acquire you Backlinks that matter and are relevant to your site. We will not sell your site to link farms or other unrepeatable sites.
